ENI Successfully Launches a New Phase of the LNG Project in Congo
The Italian energy company ENI has officially launched a new phase of its major LNG project in the Republic of the Congo, further strengthening its position as one of the key investors in the African energy industry. The new FLNG unit has already received its first volumes of natural gas, and LNG exports from this phase are expected to begin in early 2026.
This project is part of a broader strategy through which ENI significantly contributes to local energy infrastructure, economic development, and the expansion of gas production and export capacity. In addition to increasing the country’s energy stability, the project also has a positive impact on local communities through new jobs and additional development programs.
